Dear colleagues, dear students,
Unfortunately, the situation with the coronavirus pandemic is not improving, but the beginning of the summer semester is fast approaching. Therefore, I am forced to issue the following measures for the organization and implementation of the summer semester of the academic year 2020/21.
Educational process
Teaching in full-time, part-time (distance) form, but also in supplementary pedagogical study (DPŠ) and extension study programs takes place according to the published schedule. It takes place remotely, online, using educational software MS Teams and Moodle. If the situation allows for full-time education, I will inform you immediately, but I do not anticipate such a change in this semester.
Teaching period in the summer semester 2020/21 lasts from February 15, 2021 to May 14, 2021 in accordance with the valid schedule.
Exceptions are students of the final years: teaching period for students of the 3rd year Bc. (Bachelor) ends on April 23, 2021, teaching period for students of the 2nd Mgr. (Master) ends on April 16, 2021.
During the Easter holidays from March 31 until April 6, 2021, there will be no online classes.
Based on the teacher’s request, the schedule can be changed in the first two weeks of the semester (until February 26, 2021), if this does not affect the schedule of other colleagues or other students’ schedule. After this date, the schedule is valid and invariable.
In the period from February 15, 2021 to February 19, 2021, students can use the prescribed form to ask their study adviser to add or remove a course.
Office hours
Office hours of pedagogical staff shall be collected by the relevant secretary of the department and shall be published on the website of the faculty by February 20, 2021. Study advisers will also set separate office hours for this activity.
Practice
The practice can be carried out at training schools based on a contract, either in person (in the case of open schools and school facilities) or online. Practice in the third year can also be realized as sharing and analyzing of lesson videos and organizing consultations, discussions with teachers or principals.
Practice can also be realized through tutoring in the place of residence, participating in online education, either by preparing documents for online education or by listening to it or by its implementation – output.
The implementation of the practice is provided by the persons responsible for the practice didactics at the departments.
