The Self-assessment Grid of the CEFR
Read the following self-assessment grid and evaluate your English language competence. Give evidence for each statement. Here is an example.
Example:
— I can understand contemporary literary prose (B2). This year, I have read three books in the original language: The Casual Vacancy by J. K. Rowling, Inferno by D. Brown and Catch-22 by J. Heller.
— I can write an essay giving reasons in support of or against a particular point of view: I have written 6 essays – 4 for the Creative Writing course and 2 for the ELT course.
